Welcome to TEDxBradford, a home for our programme of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
Our next event, TEDxBradfordWomen: The Space Between on 1st December, coincides with TEDxWomen 2012, turning the spotlight on the ideas of women and girls who challenge and redefine the traditional rules and roles ascribed to women and men, girls and boys. As well as our live speakers, we’ll also be hosting a live simulcast from Washington DC.

What Is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event are called TEDxLeeds, where x = independently organized TED event. At TEDxLeeds events, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organised.
This independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED.
